About Us
Barry has decades of experience with tuning instruments.
He started by playing guitar at the age of 10. Soon after, he began playing harmonica and took piano lessons during the 1970’s and 1980’s. His favorite instrument to play now is violin/fiddle.
Barry played in a southern gospel group from 1986-92 . He married his sweetheart, Jill in 1988. Jill is an accomplished singer. They have three sons who Barry started in bluegrass instruments and Jill trained them to sing.
With their love for bluegrass gospel music and the Lord, they formed “The Baileys “ and have played for churches and other events for 20 years. Now their daughter in laws also sing in the group. The grandchildren are now beginning to sing.
Piano tuning was a natural extension of the Bailey’s love for music. Barry’s sons also tune, but Barry took over as the main tuner when he retired as an agriculture teacher.
Bailey Brothers piano tuning evolved from a lifetime of “making” music.
